Barbarian review.

Get the hallowean story started with the new horror movie Barbarian. The film stars, Justin Long, Georgina Scott, and Bill Skarsguard. The film is dircted by Zach Cregger. Its real simple, three people show up to stay at an airbnb for different reasons, and find something sinister going on in the house… And thats all what I am saying plot wise. Trust me when I say, the least you know going in about this movie the better. I will get into what I thought about this newest horror thriller.

This film was a ball to watch. First off this movie is technically wise amazng. We go back and forth from handeld camera scenes to typical crane style, giving the film a much more relastic feel. The three leads of the film are equally good, Georgina and Bill share great chmesistry in the scenes they have together, while Justin long makes an easy convince of playing a deuchbag who is facing some potential legal issues in the film. Justin Longs charcter also brings a great deal of humor to the film, but there are additional moments through the movie that carry a great deal of humor. The movie is a pleasent mix of sheer horr and laughs, while really once shitstarts going down its a nonstop ride.

This movie avoids throwing cheap jump scares at the audience, and sucessfully crafts tension, with some vert distrubing and bloody images throughout. Going back to the technical makeup of the movie, the camera work really plays a big hand in the films scariest moments. From Shaky cams in dark tunnels to first person views of the characters it uses a lot of different movements and shifts to create the horror. Ultimatley Barbarian is a super fun horror movie that has things in store the audience that they will never see coming. Its a high recommend fro me. A+,

Top Gun Maverick

Review.

Grab your sunglasses, tanning oil, motorbikes, & Budweiser, cause Cruise is back with a sequel over 30 years in the making , Top Gun Maverick. Tom Cruise repises his role as Navy fighter pilot extrodainaire Pete Maverick Mitchel. Along with Cruise are a batch of newcomers to the Top Gun story. Jennifer Connnely plays Penny a love inerest of Maverick from back in the day, Miles Teller as Bradley Rooster Bradshaw the son of Mavericks former air partner Goose who died in the first movie, & Jon Hamm as Vice admiral Beau “Cyclone” Simposn. Val Kimmer returns as Mavericks former rival turned great friend and ally Tom “Iceman” Kazansky in a brief scene. All call signs are a go, lets talk about Top Gun Maverick. Warning, some spoilers are ahead.

The plot is not that complex so we will start with a quick summary. The film takes place more than 30 years after the events of the first fim. Pete Maverick now with more than 3 decades of experince as a captain is working as a test pilot for the Navy, when he is given orders by admiral “Cyclone” (Jon Hamm) to train a group of Top Gun graduate pilots to prepare for a nearly impossible mission (see what I did there?). Returning to Fightertown USA, Maverick run’s into Penny (Jennifer Connelely), a daughter of a Colonel from the first movie and a romantic interest from Mavericks past. She is now the owner of the Hard Deck bar.The two re-kindle a relationship that they once had. Penny later on gives Maverick the motivation to lead his pilots on a deathtrap of a mission. One of the pilots in training is Rooster bradshaw, the son of Mavericks best firend and flymate who died during a training exercise in the first movie. Maverick and Rooster have a tense relationship with each other as Maverick was responsible for withdrawing Roosters application to the Navy and delaying his flight training as a result of Maverick keeping a promise to his formers friend’s widow to not let her son suffer the same fate as his father. In the weeks leading up the climatic mission, Maverick struggles with forgiving himself for the events of his partners death in the first film and letting Rooster push through on his potential as a Navy Pilot. After weeks of intense aerial dogfighting training and pushing their physical, and mental to the limit, Maverick leads Rooster, and 4 of the other pilots on the most dangerous mission of their lives in a nonstop thrilling action finale.

To me there are very few films in a franchise where you can unaminoulsy agree that the sequel surprasses its predecessor in every way manageable. Top Gun Maverick is that rare movie. I dont know if I can write enough how fucking awesome this was was to watch and experince in the theatre. In an age of massive CGI blockbusters, Maverick goes the route that not many movies go today, with a blend of practical and CGI affects, that are so good, you really dont even notice what is real and what is not. They really make you feel that you are in a cockpit with these guys, hyperventalating, talking shit, and avoding death and destruction at every flip, maneuver, drop, & explosion. The air dogfights are visually some of the best action sequences to grace a screen in god knows how long, I cant recall how many shots of a jet engine firiing up there was but each time, the sight and sound of it made my heart feel like I was about to go flying 10 g’s in the air.

Outside of phenomonal sound design, and visual and speical effects, there is an emotional, story here that works. A big theme of this movie, much simillar to the original is letting go of our past, moving forward and forgiving oursleves. This was present in Top Gun 1, with Maverick struggling to deal with his fathers death as a piolt in a trianing exericse. This was compunded when Goose dies in the Movie and Maverick has to find it within himself to move forward and utilize his potential. Here in this film we find Maverick struggling to grasp the death of his friend and keep Rooster from expercing the same fate. In Val Kimmers, only appearnce in the movie, we get a scene where him and Maverick meet at Icemans home. Iceman wants to talk to Maverick about the progress of training his team for the mission at hand. Maverick tells Iceman the pain he still feels from the events of the first movie and his fear of those events being repeated. Iceman simply looks at him and tells him he has to let go and re-asures maverick that he knows that he is the man for the job. This scene is even more heart tugging as not only Crusie sheds a tear, but we see the real life health struggles of Val Kimmer as he has been fighting throat Cancer and has to type onto a computer screen what to say to avoid the physical pain from speaking. At the end of the Scene Iceman brings himself to give Maverick physical words, and a funny moment ensues when he stands up and looks at Maverick and asks “who is the better pilot betwen you and me?”. Maverick responds quietly”lets not ruin a good moment”, poking fun at the ultra competiveness the two had with each in the first movie. There may have been a dozen other heartfelft moments like this sprinkled thoruhout the movie, and some legit good laughs. Maverick tells Rooster and the other pilots that they cant think while they are in the air, they just have to do what they do otherwise they will die. In a hilarious moment in the finale, Rooster confronts Maverick after he crashes his jet. Rooster returns to rescue Maverick. Maverick runs toward rooster and pushes him to the ground and yells “What were you thinking?!” Rooster responds “You told me not to think!”. Quite frankly i think that is an appliable lesson in life as well, as often times as humans we all may think to much about our current lives or our future, but sometimes you just gotta do and not think so much or your going to struggle.

Very few things didnt work for me. I imagine some people will watch this movie and just see it as a crabon copy of the first movie, due to the its very simillar storyline & themes simillar to how people thought that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a copy of Star Wars: A New hope. For me the only this had me worried was in the beginning of this movie when we get a duplciate opening crawl and credits sequence that is almost identical to the original movie. there are also a few direct flashbacks from the first movie where they pull up the exact footage from Top Gun 1 and a use a few callbacks with pictures of the events from the first movie in people’s lockers and on the walls in the base where a lot fo the movie takes place. Top Gun 2 also has a rivlary between two of the competing pilots Rooster and Hangman played by Glenn Powell, showing similairites to Maverick and Iceman’s rivalry in Top Gun. To me a lot of this really was not that problematic just due to the movie being so enjoyable overall and really not just mliking on making it a Nostalgia fest. If you want a real good example of a movie milking Nostalgia, just watch The Matrix Resurrections, which is the equivalent of spending two hours drinking elephant ass juice (not saying I have personal experience). Character Wise Penny doesnt add a ton to the movie other than just being a the romatic interest for Cruise, who ends up being one of people that helps Maverick re motivate himself to be the team the leader after some scary events occur during a taining sequence. The relationship between Maverick and Penny gives the movie some of it’s heart and my goodness is Jennifer Connelly absolutley beautiful in this as she is in just about every movie she stars in.

Overall Top Gun Maverick is a super fun, enjoyable, and emtional sequel to a pop culture hit from the 80’s. Tom Cruise with this and the still continuing Mission Impossible Franchise, continues to show he is still a one of kind prescnce in Hollywood. I hesiate to even call him a actor at this point because this man goes well far and beyond in making these movies these days and saying he is just an actor I feel like is an insult to his abilites and spirit. With another person in charge, Top Gun may have just ended up on a streaming service, since it was expected to be relased in 2020 which we all know that whole year just wasnt it. Cruise fought Tooth and nail to make sure Maverick could be relased in theatres and only theatres and man did it pay off because this is one of the better in movie theatre experinces in recent years. If Cruise wants to do a Top Gun 3 in 20 years or so, I say let the man do it cause this movie was better than it should have had any right being. It’s one thing to make a sequel, but to make a sequel decades later and have it exceed all expectations is a feat NO ONE has accomplished. Serioulsy go watch this in the theatre, dont wait for it to hit streaming to watch it on a regular TV, phone, laptop, or Ipad. Top Gum Maverick is must see entertainment and defenitley gave me the need for Speed. A+.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent review.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent stars Nicholas Cage as himself in this meta action/comedy. Along for the ride are Pedro Pascal as Javi Gutierrez, Tiffany Haddish as a CIA agent Vivian, Ike Barinholtz as Vivians colleague Martin, Sharon Horgan as Cage’s Ex wife Olivia Henson, Lilly Sheen as Cage’s daughter Addy, Neil Patrick Harris plays Richard Fink, Nicholase’s agent, & Paco Leon as Javis cousin. Nicholas Cage is looking for his next big role, while struggling to pay some outstanding financial debts and balance his personal life with his daughter. Cage is presented an opputunity to make some quick cash by going to buisness man Javi Gutierrees house in Spain and attend a party there. While at Javis house Cage begins forming a friendhip with the buisnessman who also shows Cage how huge a fan of his work he is. After a night by himself at a bar (and with a re-occuring voice in his head), Cage is grabbed by two CIA agents Vivian and Martin, where they tell Cage that Javi is a notrious criminal who is holding captive a girl named Maria who is the daughter of a poltician looking to crack down on crime. The two agents enlist Cage to continue befriending Javi and try to find out where Maria is being held. The rest of the film follws Cage going down an andventure of re-living his previous roles, (and creating a few new roles), attempts to clear his new friend Javi of what he has been accused while also trying to amend the issues his acting career has created between him and those he loves.

This movie was thorougly enjoyable to watch due to the chemistry between Nicholas Cage and Pedro Pascall . Pedro really comes across as a loving ,dedicated, awkward fan of his newly acquainted friend. Pedro has been on a hit streak for a while now with his work on the series, Narcos, The Mandalorian on Disney plus, and now TUWOMT. One hilarious sequence in the film occurs whenr Cage agress to co-write and star in a script with Javi, they then venture into a nearby town to come up with ideas for the movie, but take acid before doing so. Cage recieves a text from Vivian asking if he has made any progress on the case and he responds “not yet, I am on acid right now” and Vivian responds promptly “WTF”. Javi and Cage become paranoid while in town and try to run away from what they beleive are two spys watching them. While on the run they come across a wall blocking their path and dont see that there is a clear path around the wall. The two try to jump over the wall, and Cage is unsucesful trying to pull Javi over the wall. Javi tells Cage to leave him behind and get away. Cage hops over, and starts getting emotional, thnking he has left Javi behind for good. Javi walks around the corner and says “Mr Cage?”. In an earlier scene after Cage and Javi meet, the two have a discussion about their favirote movies and Javi admits to loving Paddington 2. Cage sort of brushes him off and doesnt take him serioulsy when he says how good the movie is, until we cut to them watching the movie together and being in tears.

Throughout the movie Cage has internal conversations with the super eccentric movie version of himself which produces some really entertaining moments. Once scene that sticks in my mind, is when after the first night of meeting Javi, Cage retreats to a nearby bar for drinks and begins having a conversation with his alter ego. The two begin having an argument about what their goals are as one person in which movie Cage in response slaps the real Cage. After the slap, the two begin making out with each other. Cage has some signature CAGE moments in this, but for the most time it felt he was being pretty down to earth and authentic throughout the move, showing the struggle of a man trying to figure out if he should continue acting and focus on his family or say F it and keep being Cage. It makes sense this situation playing out in Cage’s head because of the actual high volume of films that Cage has appeared in over the years and for the longest time seemed like he sacrificed quality over Quantity. Not saying that Cage hasn’t been good in several movies over the laast two decades but their are defenitley duds (a lot of which were straight to DVD). A few hollywood meta moments are sprinkled thoughout the movie, such as one scene where Cage and Vivian are talking about the case and, Cage begins explaining him and Javis plan to write and star in their own movie, which Vivian responds to Cage that the premise might not be good enough to bring in an audience because everyone is so used to big franchise movies like Marvel. Besides that, the only other meta moments are refernces to Cages filmagraphy, and the reoccuring appreciation of Padington 2 ( I have not seen 1 or 2 so I should get myself to stream them one day).

The film has a bit of a predicatble ending, as Cage is able to finally make his masterpiece based on the experince with Javi for the whole movie, and saving the relationship with his ex wife and daughter. We see the ending clip of the movie where Demi Moore plays Cages Wife. The ending scene is Cage sharing a moment with his daughter and ex-wife as they watch Paddington 2. We move the camera outside the house and on top of the roof overlooking the city and get to a yell from a fmailliar voice saying “IM FRICKING CAAAGGGGGGEEEEEEE”. Besides the predictable ending, I had a great time with TUWOMT. B+ from me.

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness thoughts/review.

Doctor Strange and the mutiverse of Madness is a direct sequel to 2016’s Doctor Strange and is the 28th (28 movies in a franchise is fucking unreal), installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or MCU. Several MCU veterans return back for this installment including (obvioulsy), Benedict Cumberbact as sorcereror Stephen Strange, Benedict Wong as Wong the Socrceror Supreme, Chietwel Ejifor returns as Mordo, Rachel Mcadams returns to the MCU for the first time since the origianl Doctor Strange film in this series as Chrsitine Palmer ,and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maxmoff AKA the Scarlett Witch round out the familliar faces. Xochitl Gomez is a newcomer here as America Chavez, a girl who has the ability to trvael to different unvierses but does not know how to control it. Sam Raimi, directs for the first time since 2013 (Oz the Great and Powerful) and in doing so returns to the superhero movie genre since he last left us with the Spider man triology (you know the one with two great movies and one that had Tobey Maguire emo dancing in the streets).

Upon writing this review, I have now watched this film in the theatre twice. The first time I watched this film, it left me feeling more conflcited than I previoulsy have other any other MCU films. So after a while of letting my thoughts sit in my head as well as listening to some of the other reactions, I went back to the theatre so see it agin and see how I feel about the movie. So here is my review and some of my thoughts. This is a spoiler reiview so you have been warned.

Plot Summary:

The movie begins with the introduction of America Chaves and a different Doctor Strange, who are being chased by some type of moanter that has been set upon them. While running on an unstable path, a shining book appears in the distance known as the book of of Visanti which I could have sworn while watching this was the book of Ashanti and was a book with a bunch of her songs and quotes in it but i digress. The monster gets to them before they can get to the book and in attempt to save the universe, Strange tries to absorb Chavese’s power to stop the monster from absorbing Americas power . Strange is killed by the creature and Chaves escapes from the universe using her power. We then immediatley cut to our Dr Strange waking up in bed to what seemed to have been a dream.

Upon waking, Strange leaves to go to the wedding of Christine( Rachael Mcadams), where they have a brief conversation where Stephen asks Christine what went wrong between them and she replies teliing him that he always wants to be the Knife, and in return she asks him if he is happy which he replies saying yes. Stephen than looks outside to see chaos happening on the streets as people are running in terror and cars are being thrown in the air. Strange puts his cloak and suit on to go see what is going on and finds America Chaves being chased by a giant one eyed octopus.Strange with the assistance of his colleague and sorcerror superior Wong, kills the Octopus by launching a spear into its eye and pulling it out. Strange and Wong begin speaking with Chaves as she reveals that the monster was sent by a demon to kidnap her.

She reveals that the demon wanted to take her powers which is the ability to travel between universes which she cannot control. She tells the two that she and Strange were trying to reach the book of Vishnati which has the power to give a sorcerror anything they need to defeat their enemies (shocker). Strange asks for proof that she is a unvierse traveler and she proves it by showing Stephen on a roof nearby the corpse of the Stephen who died trying to take her power before the monster could.Strange and Wong come to the conclusion that only someone with withcraft abilities could conjure these monsters.

Wong and Stephen take Chavez to Kamar-Taj, where she can be protected. Stephen seeks out Wanda Maxmoff for assistance on protecting Chavez from whoever may be coming after her but after a slip of the tongue, Wanda tells Stephen that she is the demon who is trying to get Chavez and take her power. Wanda tells Sephen she has read the darkhold, a collection of dark spells and powers which Wanda wants to use to find Chaves, take her pwoer and kill her, and leave her current reality and find her children who live in another universe. Wanda asks Strange to give over Chaves to her, but he refuses which prompts Wanda to go to Kamar Taj where she battles, Strange, Wong and the warriors there. Chaves is able to escape from the temple fortress and Stranges follows her, where they tumble through a series of different unviveres before they land in Earth 838.

Chaves and Strange head toward a building where it appears the version of doctor Strange in this unvierse is but a statue lies in front of the building that has an inscription saying Strange in this unvierse died while fighting Thanos. Mordo greets Strange and Chaves outside and he tells them that an indiviaul with the darkhold can dreamwalk into simillar personalites in other unviveres, Strange and Chaves pass out from a cup of tea Mordo gives them to drink.

Meanwhile at Kamr-Taj, a surving defender of Wands’s attack destroys the darkhold book (and gets turned into a pack) that Wanda is using. Wong tells Wanda that the darkhold book is only a copy of all the listed spells which exhist at Wundagore, a mountain top, where Wanda has Wong guide her to. Strange and Chaves wake up in two chambers in a fortress, where they see this unviverses version of Christine, where she tells them, that she was at Stranges funeral and he is a threat. Mordo takes Strange to to speak with the Illuminati to discuss the problem of his prescence in that unvierse. We go back to Wundagore where Wanda begins re-using the darhold spells to dreamwalk into a version of her self in Earth 838. Strange meets the Illuminati who consist of Captan Carter, Blackagar Boltagon (Blackbolt), Maria Rambeau (Captain Marvel), Reed Richards of the Fantastic 4, and Charles Xavier. The illumnati tell Strange, that he himself is in fact the biggest dangerto the multverse and not Wanda (I am sure they wont regret having this thought later).

Xavier tells Strange that duirng the war against Thanos, he triggered an incursion which can cause a unvierse to be destoryed via two unviveres colliding. The Illuminati had to have Strange killed due to the danger he was seen to be. Wanda Finds the fortress where Strange and Chavez are being held, and murders the sentry guards and the Illumniati. Chaves is able to break free before Wanda can get to her, and they find Strange. Christine tells Strange that they have a book of Visanti in the fortress.

They begin moving toward it while Wanda Chases them though an underground tunnel. Once Strange, Chaves, and Chrsitina, reach the book, Wanda cates up with them, and destroys the book. She takes Chaves back with her to Wundagore and sends Strange and Christine to a universe where an incursion has happened. Strange and Christina find a version of Doctor Strange, who has used the darkhold in this universe and has used it to kill other versions of doctor Strange. Strange asks the bad Strange to give him the darkhold so he can use it to stop Wanda but bad Strange refuses and the two duel in a magic music note fight where evil Strange is thrown out the window and is impaled on a fence.

Good Strange uses the darkhold to possess the dead body of the Strange who died with Chaves and with the help of eveil spirts, go to Wundagore to stop Wanda. Chaves Sends Wanda to the Universe of the other Wanda that she possessed, where her children see her and are immediatley frightened by her. The Wanda that she had possessed , tells her that the children whill still be loved. Wanda Destroys the darkhold and kills hersef (for now), while Wong and Chaves return back to their unvierse and Strange tells Christine that he loves her in every unvierse before retunring back to his universe. Strange comes back, but now he has residual affects from the darkhold that he used to stop Wanda.

Whats Good:

This is one of the more unique entries in the MCU mostly due to the direction of Sam Raimi. Raimi brings something to this franchise that none of the other theatrical releases have brought so far, and that is horror and shock. Raimi brings his horror background, much like he infused horror elements in his Spider man triology. There are several sequences that are legit SCARY and shocking. Wanda crawling out of a gong and looking like the girl crawling out of the tv in the Ring, Wanda in 838 seeing a picture of herself looking back at her, and two jump out scences where Wanda is chasing the trio of Strange, Christine, & Chaves, and Wanda jmping out of a red cloud of smoke to kill Xavier. Raimi brings some of his Evil Dead and Drag me to hell background with a lot of the imagery in this movie, particulary with the conjuring of spirits, and books being used to conjure supernatural energies. And then their is the violence. Blackbolts death in this movie is one of the most shocking things I have seen in a marvel movie since the end of Infinity War. THE MANS HEAD IS DEFLATED LIKE A FUCKING BALLON AFTER WANDA TAKES HIS MOUTH AWAY WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY HE CAN USE HIS POWER. That is immediatley followed by Mr Fantastic being turned into Spaghetti, Peggy Carter getting cut in half with her own shield, Captin marvel being crushed by a statue, and Xavier getting his neck snapped. On top of the violecnce and horror images, this movie is visually stellar.

A couple of scenes stick out in my mind, when Wanda Wipes out the warriors at Kamar-Taj, Strange creates an illusion inside the fortress where the room around Wanda is revolving and moving to confuse her and creates illusions until she find a water reflection in the room to escape. Another moment once Chaves and Strange escape from Wanda, and go though several universes, one of which includes a unvierse where everything and everyone is made of paint, a universe with dinasours (dont get any ideas Disney & Universal), a water universe, and a cartoon universe. All the actors in this movie are good but Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda is the standout as Raimi really lets her slay, slay, & slay, but we really get the feeling from her that she thinks she is right in what she is doing.

Elizabeth Olsen, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Whats Ass:

As i mentioned above, Wanda was one of my favirote parts of this movie and I thought Elizabeth Olsen was great. But my biggest issue with this movie is the development of how we got to Wanda becoming a murder machine. It just does not compute how Wanda goes so quickly to justifying the murder of other heroes, so she can be happy. We know Wanda has has had a rorugh life before this movie begins. Wanda has had to go through the death of her brother Quicksilver in Age of Ultron.

She was forced to kill her love interest Vision, and on top of that her grief lead her to creating her own neighborhood community, and making a family with Vision and holding an entire group of people against their will so she could sustain a happy life.

We know at the end of Wandavision that Wanda does not feel good about what she has done, and in this movie she is ready right away to turn everyone into packs. They needed to dedicate more time in Wandavision or in this movie to show that Wanda could come to the conclusion that she might go on a murder spree to get what she wants. If we got some time in this movie showing her coming to the realization that she could get whatever she wants with her powers and the darkhold than it would make more sense where she is in this movie. You can say she was corrupted by the Darkhold, but we dont see her reading it in this movie and we dont get a hint about it in one of the earlier MCU entries. We are just told right away that Wanda wants to kill Chaves and have the life she has dreamed of. Elizabeth Olsen has been good in all her MCU appearances so I think she can pull off portratying a descent into madness. Taking a note from another Disney property in the prequel triology for Star Wars, Anakin Skywalker had three movies that showed how and why he turned to the Dark Side and became Darth Vader.

We see the progression of Anakin becoming more angry at the Jedi and more fearful for his future, so when he finally is in the suit, it makes sense how he got there. Obvioulsy I dont think we needed more movies to show her switch into the Scarlett Witch as we already got multiple movies and shows to explain her internal struggle but they could have given us a little bit more time to show this change from avenger to an actual killer. I think they could have gone a different route with another villain, or they needed to really take their time with getting Wanda to the point where she is a straight up enemy. Wandas went out fucking sad in the end of this movie, considering shes one of the charaters thats been in this franchise for the longest, to just have her go out killing herself (and we dont even see it on screen), 1 minute after relaizing she might not be a good person was just dissapointing. Its going to be diffuclt for them to bring her back at this point and have her be a hero.

I dont know how the writers are gonna swing that after everything she did in this movie if they indeed bring her back. My other issues with this movie are more script/plot related after rewatcing. . Doctor Strange doesnt have the ability to travel to different unvierses but in Spider No Way Home, Ned can literally open portals to the multiverse with Stranges Sling, how Sway? When we see Zombie Strange telling Chaves that she can control her power if she just “trusts herself” like she always has just felt like a copout to me wrting wise. Oh yeah, the book of Vishanti, completley fukcing usueless. Is Mordo still stuck in the Illuminati fortress drop?

My overall thoughts/Grade:

Doctor Strange into the multiverse of madness is a flawed but still a pretty good edition in the MCU. If your a fan of the MCU and if your Sam Raimi fan, I think you will enjoy this one. I think a lot of people are going to have problems with Wanda, but a majority of the most badass scenes in this movie have her in it. Hell at one point she was straight up looking like the terminator, running around chasing people. This movie is not gonn rank super high in the overall MCU for me but in terms of phase 4, I think it is behind Spider man NWH, & Shang Chi. Ill be really curious see how this is gonna afect the rest of this current Marvel Phase we are in. Also just one last thought , I thought it was really cool Kevin Feige, Sam Raimi, & Danny Elfman the composer where reunited for the first time together since the Raimi Spider man triology. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness gets a B- from me.
